Ne-Yo's track was produced by Stargate, a Norwegian production team in his debut album 'In My Own Words' and it was released as the second single from the album.
The song charted worldwide with number 1 achievements in the United Kingdom as well as the United States. With Def Jam, Ne-Yo met with Stargate in New York to write the songs for his album and one of which would be 'So Sick.'
